A custom blind box is a surprise box that’s packed and customers never know what is inside until it is opened. It is a mystery that keeps customers coming back to buy again. You can choose your box shape, by style, i.e a lid and base or a straight tuck end, and we will print it exactly how you require. The material we use is SBS paperboard as it is heavy weight and fully opaque as well. It is also color intensive which is an advantage for "the big reveal", with an easy production and a wide standard stock. These boxes gather loyal collectors for Anime merch, K pop merch, toys and e.g. beauty sets where the big reveal makes the sale. Our minimum order quantity is 50 boxes, get your free quote and get the first series.

When you order something and you know what is inside it doesn’t give a lot of excitement. Now think about when you don’t know what is inside. That gap between buying and finding out is exactly what makes the blind box format one of the most powerful selling tools in the collectible market right now.
People buy custom blind packaging for toys, vinyl figures, anime merchandise, and K pop merch, not just because they want the item, but because they want the experience of not knowing which one they'll get.
The brands use the SKU randomization to fit different characters into the same sealed box, so that every buyer will get a random item in the series. Some figures are common, some are rare, and one might be a secret variant no one outside the brand knows about. That set up is enough to get people to buy multiple boxes just to chase what they are missing.
Subscription services use the surprise box format every month on skincare, hobby kits and lifestyle products. Event based brands release limited editions at occasions and pop ups. It creates interest within the audience as no one has seen the product before.
This new format was introduced by gacha culture into the hands of consumers. Gacha culture is the practice of consumers buying randomized custom blind boxes. It comes from Japanese capsule toy boxes and has a global spread through online apps and stores.
Adult collectors are the best audiences for it, as they want more than just the box. They want an experience, nice printing and packaging that is considered as much as the toy inside.
A box that fails structurally not only wastes money, but also damages experience before the reveal. If a customer shakes the box and hears the rattling, the mystery is gone. And if the seams come apart in transit, you have a return on your hands before you get a repeat buyer.
If personalized blind boxes are packed properly, it deserves the purchase. It keeps the item safe and hidden. It prints your series artwork clearly across each panel so the box tells the story of your collection before anyone even opens it. And the opening itself, the unboxing experience, becomes something people really want to capture and share online.
Many collectors in the kidult market keep the box after opening it as the series packaging becomes part of how they display their collection. That means your branding has a shelf life much longer than the day someone opens it.
The model has repeat purchases built-in. The buyer who wants all eight figures in a series has to keep buying. The collectible packaging you put around each pull shows them the full series every time they look at it and it’s a constant reminder of what they need.
The first choices are for the box style. You choose what you want. Lid and base gives you an extra reveal moment and would be best suited for high end series.
This is the most typical form for standard collectibles as it is clean, stackable, cheap, good to print, and easy to customize.
Gable styles are great for lighter/more flat items like sticker packs and photocard sets. From there, each individual panel is customizable just how you'd like!
You can also include a 'die cut' window that gives a brief look inside, without fully revealing the contents. Printing on the inside and hot foiling box with window gives the second reveal moment which works mostly well with premium series.

Most custom blind boxes use SBS paperboard. The main reason is opacity, the board is thick enough that nothing shows through it, not even a hint. The surface also accepts full color, foil and spot finishes very cleanly.
Increasing numbers of collectors, particularly younger consumers in the kidult market, are choosing brands that use eco friendly packaging. You can send a clear message across to that audience by making responsible board selections and by eliminating unnecessary internal layers.

| Large Pull | 5 x 5 x 8 | Larger figures, plush, multi item sets |

It begins in a steel tool that punches through each panel/ fold line and takes the tab out of the paperboard.
We have separate plates for each color and we place the colors onto the board in sequence. Then, we move to the finishing section, where we use Spot UV, foil or emboss. Next, the gluing process is manual for special custom blind boxes and automatic for less complex.
Finally, we check it for alignment and neatness. Then we pack it flat for shipment.
Our team likes to send you a sample of your die-line before we actually send your full order. To begin with, you receive a die-line. This flattened printed blind box version shows each fold line, each panel, and every outside and inside glue area.
It is to give you an idea of what your finished box will look like. This then gives other members of your team a chance to double-check that they haven't missed anything when folding the box.
The logo and all the text below the fold lack fill. Next we provide the 3D mock-up, which shows you the assembled box all around. Just rotate it around, and you may check all the corners, to see if each corner folds tight or not. If something feels not good, just let us know, we will do the job for you.
All companies whether working for the first time or with a fully licensed brand to local dealers have an MOQ of 50 boxes on all of their orders. Wholesale buyers running thousands of units have the same MOQ. Whereas, we offer free design support from first die-line to last revision, so there is never a charge for design against your packaging budget.
Moreover, we offer three quality inspection points (cutting, printing and assembly) before the order leaves.
